Columbia golf pro and teacher George E.Bryan, III, is the 
Director of Instruction of the George Bryan Golf Academy.
In 1998, he was named Carolinas PGA Junior Golf Leader and selected by Golf Digest as one of the Best South Carolina Golf Teachers for 2000 and 2001. He competed in the 1982 and 1983 US Amateurs and the 1999 PGA Championship at Medinah. He won the 1989 Carolinas Match Play Championship and is a four-time winner of the Wild Dunes EZ-GO Pro-Am. In 2003 he was the South Carolina PGA Chapter Player of the Year. He qualified and competed in the 2004 PGA Tour's MCI Heritage.
George and his acclaimed staff offer private golf lessons and group classes as well as some of the most sought after Columbia Golf clinics! Their lessons, classes and clinics take place at some of the most exclusive Columbia golf courses such as: Northwoods Golf Club, Charwood Golf Club, Mid-Carolina Country Club, Lake Murray Golf Center, Weed Hill Driving Range.
George and his staff have developed a loyal following among many of the Palmetto state’s most accomplished adult amateurs, but not all of their clients are voting age. Summer camps for juniors are held at three Columbia Golf courses: Charwood Country Club, Lake Murray Golf Center and Northwoods Golf Club.
